The Man Kung MK-XB65BK Chester compound crossbow features a compact bullpup design, with the string-release mechanism positioned behind the trigger. It also uses reverse cam technology, with the string running from the front of the cams rather than the back, as found on many other compound crossbows. This combination makes the crossbow shorter and narrower than the MK-XB58BK while providing a slightly longer power stroke, which is the distance travelled by the string after the trigger is operated. The foldable foot stirrup can also be used as a bipod. Vibration dampers are fitted between the cams and limbs and at the string stoppers to help reduce vibration and noise. An anti-dry-firing system is included, along with upper and lower Picatinny rails. The lower rail accommodates the supplied front grip and quiver, as well as compatible accessories such as a laser or light. The kit also includes a 4×32 scope, sling, cocking string and four carbon bolts. With a stated velocity of 130 m/s, this model is intended for experienced adult users in lawful, controlled sporting settings.
